Take full advantage of an afternoon in Malibu and watch the sun slip into the sea as you set your intentions for the next phase of the year. Harness the powerful, culminating energy of the Summer Solstice to manifest Love, Abundance and Fulfilling Balanced Relationships at the Malibu Sound Bath on Saturday, June 22nd. The combined healing talents of Susan Valdez Cohen (Founder and Facilitator of Malibu Soundbath), Kristi Swicegood (Licensed Acupuncturist) and Tina Montalto (Licensed Massage Therapist) will guide you through a sonic healing journey. Enjoy a full sensory immersion of crystal singing bowls, the Flower of Life gong, acupuncture for 3rd eye and crown chakra balancing and essential oils to attune your energetic body. This is a small, initmate event with fewer than 20 attendees to encourage an optimal environment for relaxation, transformative healing and focused attention from the facillitators.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE SUMMER SOLSTICE:
The word solstice derives from sol (sun) + sistere (standing still). As the sun moves into the astrological sign of cancer at the solstice, it appears to stand still for about three days June 20th, 21st & 22nd. This is a wonderful opportunity for balancing male and female energies. When the Sun is in Cancer, we are all closer to a primal state of asserting what is ours, whether it be a new home,a job, a relationship, our existing family, our tribe, or setting intentions for adding new members to the family.
